“Rabbit Stew” is the new release from Memphis luminary Lorette Velvette (Panther Burns, Hellcats, solo artist). Velvette’s a formidable artist; this limited-run lathe cut (50 copies) is a prime slice of Americana music and features Doug Easley on resonator guitar. Both songs are Velvette originals. A welcome return from an artist whose voice has been absent for too long.
